We currently offer competitive and recreational Rhythmic Gymnastics classes Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 10:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
RHYTHMIC ACADEMY CLASSES & PROGRAMS
Our Recreational Program is designed to introduce girls ages 3 and up to Rhythmic Gymnastics and athletic conditioning. Program activities include cardiovascular fitness and body conditioning, jumping, balances, stretching, basic acrobatics skills, beginner apparatus handling, body movement and rhythmic mechanics. Class time range from 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on age and skill level and is ideal in developing concentration, memory and creativity. Class structure is very disciplined, highly engaging and nurturing to develop the love of exercise and Rhythmic Gymnastics. The girls in this program usually practice 3 to 6 hours a week, and are included in all club activities except team competitions.
Our Pre-team Program are designed for girl’s ages 5 to 10 who want to compete in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Class time is 2 hours and faster passed then our recreational classes. The training is focused on correct body movement, apparatus handling and learning basic elements for level 3 to 5. Girls in the beginners program usually practice 4 to 8 hours a week and required to take a minimum of 1 ballet class per week. They are included in all club activities except team competitions.
Our Beginner Competitive Program levels 3 and 6 is for gymnasts who have mastered all the pre-team skills and exercises and ready for competitive gymnastics. Training regiments are very intensive and require between 6 and 16 training hours per week. The training includes advanced stretching, extreme conditioning, refining basic skills, perfecting apparatus handling, and learning routines for competitions. Girls at these levels will be required to compete in invitational, state, regional and national competitions.
Our Elite Competitive Program (Level 7 to 10) is for experienced athletes who have mastered all level 4 to 6 skills and placed in the top 10% of competition. Training regiments are extremely difficult, highly technical and require between 16 to 30 hours per week. The training includes ballet and choreography, advanced stretching, extreme conditioning, perfecting Rhythmic Gymnastics elements and apparatus handling, and learning high level routines for competitions. Girls at these levels will be required to compete in all team events, invitational, state, regional and national competitions.
