Yelena Gerasimova (Team Coach)

Rhythmic Academy of Los Angeles is honored to have Yelena Gerasimova part of our Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching staff. Mrs. Gerasimova arrives to our training center with world class credentials as a top Rhythmic gymnast and a world class coach with over 28 years of coaching experience.

Between 1972 and 1978 Mrs. Gerasimova was a member of the powerful Soviet National Team, participating and prizewinning in numerous World Cup Championships and international competition.

Mrs. Gerasimova is a graduate of Moscow University with a B.A. degree in Fine Arts with Rhythmic Gymnastics Emphasis, she holds a Master of Sports honors, and coached/coordinated routines for the Russian Junior Olympic Team.

Mrs. Gerasimova is fluent in English, has strong communication skills, and is extremely enthusiastic and motivating. Her training style is demanding, technical and disciplined yet nurturing and fun. Her teaching approach and professional instruction develop student interest and inspire passion and love for Rhythmic Gymnastics.
